Topic analysis
Running comes in many forms. Some run for pleasure, some run for competition. Everyone has their own reason for running and that is what I am aiming to find out in my auto-ethnography. There are so many different reasons to be motivated to run. Whether it is to win, to stay in shape, or for pure joy, finding out the true reason why people run intrigues me.

I will be interviewing two runners on Emory's track and cross country team and asking a variety of questions that all lead to one place: "Why do you run?" After conducting these interviews I will create a page for my own story. In this story I will be able to reflect on why I run and what has led me to be motivated to continue running.

I run because it’s so symbolic of life. You have to drive yourself to overcome the obstacles. You might feel that you can’t. But then you find your inner strength, and realize you’re capable of so much more than you thought.
