Looking back while moving forward
I was never really someone who excelled in English classes throughout my education. Very rarely did I have a chance to explore ideas and topics that I genuinely enjoyed, and when I did it was very restricted what I could do. This class opened the door for me in terms of writing opportunities. I was able to explore my own originally thoughts and ideas and create a truly unique piece of work that I can continuously add to. Throughout this entire process I was able to grow as a writer. I learned the correct way to interview someone, at least in my case, was to simply have a conversation with the subject and weed out anything that could make the interview seem to formal, such as an ill lit room or a business pad. I genuinely feel that I have grown as a writer. Having a multimodal project such as this one allowed me to express my creativity in a number of ways throughout the process. From editing videos to writing my first review of literature, I was able to explore that many ways to express myself as a writer instead of just the typical boring essay. Instead of an essay I have created a piece of digital art.
